Greetings Everyone!

First I would like to thank you for your participation in the 9th annual DeLand Beer Festival and Volusia Beer Week.

Below is some set up information for the DeLand Beer Fest.

Date: February 10, 2017

Set-Up Begins: 11:00am

Cars must be off the street: 12:00pm

Set and ready to serve: 12:45pm (12:00pm for BIP and Homebrewers)

Festival Begins: 1:00pm (12:00pm for BIP and Homebrewers)

Final Pour:  5:00pm (3:00pm for BIP and Homebrewers)

The Festival team will provide each 10x10 space with a table and 60 pounds of ice. Unless you have made previous arrangements with Mainstreet DeLand Association or the DBF Committee you will need to provide your own tent. We ask that you bring any signage or POS that you would like to give out and display along with any table coverings or decorations you wish to use.  If you are anticipating your distributor bringing any POS or signage please verify with them prior to the event.

If you have any specific needs such as electricity, running water, etc., we need to know them ASAP in order to accommodate those needs appropriately.

Layout is below.

We are in the same location as last year and driving instructions are included below. It will be important to follow these driving directions and load in instructions.

If you need to unload anything for the festival please enter Indiana Ave from the Woodland side.  There will be Festival staff present to direct you to your space.  Please park your car on the right hand side of the road regardless of which side your space is on.  This will allow traffic flow while you unload.  Once you have unloaded everything, please move your car immediately to one of the available parking spaces in the County Parking Garage on the corner of Alabama and Rich.

Ice will begin being distributed an hour before the festival begins.  The Ice Team will be the only people with access to the ice cooler.  They will bring the ice to you.  You do not need to go looking for it.

Each area will have a volunteer team and they will come around and introduce themselves before the festival begins.  Your volunteer team will help you with maintaining rinse water, pour relief, etc. as needed.  They will also be given detailed instructions in what to do with possible security and safety concerns so they will be your first contact should any of those situations arise.  We are very proud that we have had very few issues over the years and hopefully the same will be able to be said for this year! Your volunteer team will also have detailed breakdown instructions and they will help you repack and get left over beer to the proper location at the festival’s end.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this year’s festival!  Until then, Cheers and please feel free to email or call me with any questions.
